Our night in London

Last night, we went to see the Tower Bridge. It was truly amazing with all the lights and the sky line. The moon was half full and was right above the bridge. Tower Bridge has to be one of the top places ever. Everyone knows that I love Venice and Venice at night was the best however London's Tower Bridge is right up there with it.

While we were at Tower Bridge, a large boat went under it and the bridge had to be lifted. It goes up and down fairly quick (I think less than 1 minute each direction). We were excited that we got to see that too. We spent a wonderful night admiring the view. Brian spend time getting us good pictures of the bridge. Our plan is to replace our Venice night picture that is on our wall with the Tower Bridge.

On a side note, London Bridge is lit up in pink at night. It is much smaller than the Tower Bridge but looks neat colored pink at night.

We walked back to our hotel (Chamberlain Hotel) from the bridge and finally went to sleep at 11:00pm. We went 36 hours without any sleep. We enjoyed about 8 hours of sleep and set our alarm for 7.
